Clear messages

I would like to know how to clear up my messages I have this one person who is asking me for a life which I don’t mind but they are up to 44 and to me that is a bit too much so I just want to clear it.Thank you Shierrap

I am back!

I checked the Settings on Facebook. There are two places that you could adjust in order to stop the Notifications. Unfortunately, you can't do it on individual friends basis. Log-in to your Facebook Account and Open The Settings on the far right corner of your Facebook Page by clicking the Down Arrow. A drop-down Menu will open. Go down and click on Settings just above the Log-Out. It will open your General Account Settings. To the left of it, find and click on Notifications. On Notification Settings, click on Updates From Friends. You'll see a page just like the ScreenShot below. You can always turn the Notifications ON or OFF when needed, especially when it becomes annoying.

The second place that you could adjust is through the App itself. Still on Settings, click on Apps & Websites 3 steps down from Notifications. Click on Candy Crush Saga to open the page that looks like the ScreenShots below. There is nothing to change on the first page of Candy Crush Saga Data Access. You'll have to move down by clicking the white vertical space between the gray bar and the down arrow on the right side of it and you'll see a page similar to the second ScreenShot below the first one.

Below is the second page that I was talking about. Change the Option on Send you notifications to NO and click Save for it to take effect. Don't worry, you can always change this back later.

BTW, I don't think there is something in the Facebook Settings that can clear the Notifications but you can always put a STOP on it.

As far as the Facebook Messenger, if the person becomes annoying, you can always BLOCK him or her by Clicking the Gear Icon on the upper far right side corner of the page below the phone icon. Choose Block Messages at the very bottom of the Drop-Down Menu.

You can Delete Your Messenger Messages by clicking on the Gear Icon to the left side under Messenger Settings to the right of the person's photo where you click to see his or her message. A Delete Conversation window will open with a notice that This will permanently delete the conversation history. Click Delete and you're done.
