    Hope your problem has been resolved. I'd love to hear your feedback.😉😉

    Hi there! @Lor59 Welcome to the Community!

    Are you experiencing this Black Screen on Windows 10 Computer? Do you experience this right after clicking the Candy Crush Saga Icon? Does it stay black or does it switch over to the normal screen? If it doesn't, then what you are experiencing is a System Error called The Black Screen of Death. This System Error comes up when the Operating System encounters a Critical System Error which can cause the system to shut down.

    I recommend that you run your System Scan to find out what the problem is by clicking on the This PC in your computer. On Devices and Drives, Right Click OS (C:).  A Drop-Down Menu will open.
     Scroll down on Properties.  Under Properties, click on Tools. There you'll find the Error Checking Tab. Click on it and follow instructions from there. It will tell you what happened or what the error was.

    With or without errors, you can run Error Checking features of Windows 10 just to get used to it.

    I found a different Candy Crush Saga Black Screen issue on YouTube. I want you to watch it and see it and tell me if it is what you are experiencing or if it is what I described above. Below is the video for you to watch.

    Black screen instead of having the game user interface after loading all the usual stuff : Daily bonus available, Possibility to feed the beast, then black screen.
    I'm on Mac system 10.14.6, using either Safari browser or Firefox. Flash player latest version. I suspect this bug to be on King side, please advise.

    @Lor59

    If you are in the U.S., Happy Thanksgiving!  I saw your message as I was preparing my Pumpkin Pie in the kitchen. It is now in the oven so I have time to give you more information about your Black Screen of Death Issue.

    I posted a Thread about Candy Crush Saga Microsoft Store System Requirements months ago. The Black Screen that you are currently experiencing is related to this.

    You told me in a Community Message last night that you have a Surface Pro 3 with Windows 8 Operating System. According to the Microsoft Store, for best experience, your device should all meet the minimum requirements to Open The Product. Here is the link to the Microsoft Store Candy Crush Saga App Download Minimum Requirements:   https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/p/candy-crush-saga/9nblggh18846?activetab=pivot:regionofsystemrequirementstab

    Below is the ScreenShot of Candy Crush Saga Minimum Requirements from the Microsoft Store:

    I understand this is not you want to hear.  Unfortunately, not meeting the Minimum Requirements has after effects like what you are having. This is the reason why Microsoft highlighted this in the App Download link. It is good that you brought this topic here instead of bringing your device to a Computer Specialist. At least it didn't cost you a thing and can save your money for Operating System Upgrade if you decide to go that route.

     Hope this helps!

  • Hi @mercerik
    There can be no comment about Microsoft App as the player is playing the game through a browser.
    However, I was able to solve his problem. Thanks.

    @Sukanta_Biswas

    I think we have a language problem here. I wasn't talking about a Microsoft App. I was talking about the Candy Crush Saga App with a Minimum System Requirements to Run according to the Microsoft Store. @Lor59 did not specify here if he or she was using the Game App or accessing the game thru a browser. His or her personal messages last night and this morning did not specifically point out the version either. There was no ScreenShot which was why I explained the Black Screen and posted a video as a possibility of similar situation.

    There is no reason whatsoever to suppress anyone's comments when trying to resolve an issue. We are both on the same side trying to come up with a solution. We are trying to help people in need of assistance. We are not here to prove who is more powerful or in authority or knowledgeable than the other. You saying "There can be no comment about Microsoft App" is very authoritative. If this Community is a friendly environment as it claims to be, you would not have commented the way you did.

    I am glad you've resolved the issue as you claimed. Good for you!

    Have a wonderful day!
