Help with switching to a king account from a deleted FB account

I have played candy crush saga and had it linked to an FB account that was deleted. Today I downloaded candy crush friends because of a promo to earn gold bars. When I tried to log in, my CCS game logged into my work FB account. Help! So what I want to do is change the deleted FB acct info to a new (this) king account. I think the CCS game is still working on my ipad, but I will have to check when I get home. Please help!

Hello @lobstahluvah and welcome to our wonderful community (like your name by the way 😊). Please follow the link below and it will walk you through creating and linking to a King.com account. Once you have done that you can go in and log out of the FB account.

You need to create a king account and connect your game to it so your progress can be saved. You said your game connected to a work FB account. Is that account still active? Once you create the king account - you should be able to disconnect the game from any FB account it is logged into. On your iPad at home - just make sure when you open the app - before you actually start to play the game - go into settings and your profile and make sure you connect it to the king.com account that you have created and you should be fine.

I will try it and hopefully, it will work. FYI I had a personal FB account which I deleted a couple of years ago, to which CCS was connected, AND a work FB account. You want to connect your game to the king.com account as soon as possible so you don't lose your progress. If you have been playing for two years and not connected to either FB or king.com - then potentially the levels you played in those tow years aren't 'stored' anywhere so if something should happen you could lose that progress. Just to be on the safe side - I would take a screenshot showing the level you are currently on - so you can use it as proof if needed to get back to your current level.
