Yes, this is a horrible update to make. Some starting boards are impossible for some levels. This forces you to go through lives quicker obviously hoping people pay for more lives or boosters. All it will result, in my case at least, is not playing the game. Well played.3

As someone who is almost to 5500 where many of the levels are ridiculous to begin with, even if you do get an advantageous booster/board combo to start, this is a joke. 100% done to force people to buy boosters. My play time has already dropped massively and I'm sure it will result in this becoming just another forgotten game on the pile. Good plan king!

You do know how to re-set your lives to full again right? You don’t need to ever pay for any (although you will loose a timed boost).1 -

Ok, so they say it can upset your device but If sone properly I have never had a problem and I’ve been playing/using this for about 7 years. This only works if playing in the App on a phone/tablet I think.
1. Go to your device settings and then the time/date. If you’ve got automatic time on, switch it off.
2. Move the day on by 1 day or 5 hours (I just find a day easier)
3. Go back in to CC app and wait a few seconds until the lives reset to 5. Now before doing anything else, go back to your time/date settings and either switch back to automatic time or go back to what it actually should be.
4. Return to CC and the lives will still say 5.
Beware though, you will lose any timed boosters, but if you’re within the 7 hour cool off period for collecting the additional sweets in the jar thingy, that will still work.
