No longer able to exit an unstarted board without losing lives - Information and feedback

Dear community,

I'd like to share with you some information in regards to a god old known issue of the game:

as you may be aware, when we access a level, we don't use any move and we exit the level without playing it, we don't lose any life.

This behaviour was not intended since the very beginning and very soon, this issue is going to be fixed.

That means that, once it's fixed, if we access a level to check it out, we don't do anything and we decide to exit the level to go back to the map, we will be losing a life.

If they do not plan to reverse the situation and it is taking them this long to tell us the reason for the change, something isn't right. Presumably, they had a reason for the change before they made the change. If they are delaying now, it is likely because they do not want to disclose the real reason...they want to wait until their PR dept can put a spin on it.

The important part of the community manager's post today says it all:

"I would also like to say that there are no plans to undo this change in the game."

The ability to reset the board is never coming back. One complaint or thousands of complaints do not matter.

Not one penny more, King. My money is, like the reset, never coming back to you.

Last week, when I PLay, I OPen the level where I am to see if I need booster or not. And then I close the level (without doing a move) and then return to it to use booster, so I keep my life and I keep my level of 6 booster . Now I Open a level to see if I need a booster or not, and I close it before return, and then I see that I lost A life and I return to level 5 of booster . Why have you change the rules ? I want to continue to open a level to see if I need booster and close it (without doing a moove) without lost a life and a level of booster (I'm french so I speek how I can)

This screenshot will help. After you select View Profile from the settings sprocket you get your profile screen. The green button with the white arrow will give you Edit Profile at the bottom of the screen. Then scroll all the way down on the next screen to choose notifications. You'll have to scroll again to make your selections.

I wrote to King and they gave me directions on how to stop them but it is not working so I won't pass it along to anyone. Write King I think they have given us another problem for complaining. Just my luck to be stuck with hundred of unwanted emails.

At the bottom of the screen, on the right, is the Settings sprocket. You can change your notification preferences there. You don't need to unsubscribe, just choose the ways you would like to be notified, or not... ✌

I have spent a lot of money on CC but no more , three times I have completed a level but my position has not moved up and end up on the same game which you can no longer back out off. I have had to end the game and lose my life and boosters which is totally unfair, looks like I will be looking for another game to play unless this gets sorted

This "fix" should come as no surprise to people who are familiar with King's history.

From being accused of stealing the idea for Candy Crush in 2012 from the creator of Candy Swipe (which was created in 2010) to cloning the game Scamperghost and creating their Pac-Avoid, King has always been shady af and driven by their love of money.

Let's all take a moment to warmly reflect on the moment, from 2014, when The International Game Developers Association called the actions of King "predatory"

It has been 11 agonizing days since you posted this announcement. What exactly are you still working on with the Studio that doesn't seem to progress? What is taking it long? I hope you are not using this as an excuse for running out of options! I hope you are not just chasing your tail making us chase ours as well in the process.

Quoting from your statement "I cannot confirm the official communication will be published today or not", you don't necessarily have to publish the official communication if that is causing the hold or the delay, why not just give us the important information yourself? You've read it, didn't you?

Please don't keep us in the dark! Is there really a light at the end of the tunnel in this restoration request? That is the BIG NAGGING QUESTION in everyone's mind here including myself. I hope you are aware that if you already know that King Games has made its FINAL DECISION NOT TO REVERSE the recently changed Board Reset Ruling and yet you still keep us in the dark, giving us false hope, these members' anger will be turned on you,. Please be honest with us and let us know if this is already set on stone and there is ZERO POSSIBILITY that King Games will change its mind!

1. You must removed all the timed boosters from all the rewards of your game. It's sucks!

2. You must for when if you leave a level if you do not use the move of the level for the without lose of life, boosters and build-a-bots.

3. Do not make a prize for the less of gold bars or boosters.

In some cases they have raised the price and some of us continue to play. But what they have done this time is different. The heroin they gave us this time wasn’t more expensive; rather it lacks its potency. It’s like drinking nonalcoholic beer. There’s no joy. No relaxation. No escape. I hate the game now. Very much not fun anymore. Have been going into the App Store looking for a replacement game. Still going into cc to get the free boosts and waiting to see if King comes to its senses.

I think you're being here is not really to support the cause. You are here as a diversion. You are so transparent! Your agenda is too obvious. You are trying to stir a fight here just like the other 2 members who eventually stopped. I am not going to waste my time on you. It is not worth it the effort. If you are one of us, why don't you comment on Restoring the Free Board Reset instead of undermining me when I am the one who is trying to help these people who are affected?

The app got frozen when my lives are running out!!!
As shown in the picture, the screen gone grey and frozen when the lives are running out… no matter I restart the app or my phone.
Why can’t I access the shop and booster wheel despite connection to internet?
it’s been months that my booster wheel doesn’t work. It keeps saying connection issue but my internet was fine. I could access everything in other apps. Recently, I was trying to use the gold brick to buy some boosters but it keeps loading forever and unable to show the purchase page.
