Candy Crush's display changed two days ago to a much older version. Why?

Two days ago, a message appeared while I was playing on my PC saying Adobe had been blocked but that I could undo that.
In fact I did.  A very old version of Candy Crush appeared. I updated Adobe: still old, very old version. I updated Chrome: same result. I can't stand playing this way. Is there any way to solve this? Why this?

    Hi there, @Anaiutande !

Of all my YouTube Videos, Adobe Flash Player is the most viewed because a lot of people are confused with this platform. There are too many versions posing Security threats to Users. This is the very reason why every Online Browsers took it upon themselves to make this built-in so users don't have to mess with it. If your Chrome Browser is regularly updated, then the Flash Player will be updated as well. If it is neglected and the Flash Player becomes outdated, Chrome will block it. There is a way of updating the Flash Player that is built-in in Chrome.

Before I get into that, can you please tell me how you updated your Adobe Flash Player?

    Please let me know!

    Thanks!

I think I did from the Adobe website, but, to be true, I can't remember well. Which is the right way to do it? Thank you very much

    Hi again, @Anaiutande !

Going to the Adobe Website is usually what users who have issues normally do. Unfortunately, that is a very bad idea! Adobe Flash Player has too many versions that are confusing to users posing Security Risks. First and foremost, you don't know what version is built-in in your browser. Installing a different version will result to your Flash Player blocked by the your browser. The only way to find out what version you downloaded and installed is by going to your Computer's Control Panel and compare it with the one supported by your browser. I don't recommend that you do this yourself since you said you can't remember what you did. It is very risky. You might inadvertently delete some important programs that will make you life worse than it is right now. I want you to find a family member who is knowledgeable in Windows 10 Settings. If that person knows a lot about it, he can figure out what to do next.

I was hoping that you did not attempt to download and install any version at the Adobe Website. I can give you other information that is not as risky as going into the Control Panel.

Why don't we check and see if your Chrome Browser is updated. Go to Settings by clicking the 3 Dots on the Upper Right Hand Corner of your browser as shown in the first ScreenShot below. A Dropdown Menu will open. Go down and click Help. Slide your mouse to the left of it when a box opens and click About Google Chrome. If your browser is not updated, it will automatically update it. However, if it is updated, it will show you the Version like the Second ScreenShot below.

Now, I want you to check the Chrome Components to find out what the Flash Player Version is supported by the browser. On the address bar next to the right of back & forward arrows, refresh arrows and Home Icon, type-in this link: chrome://components/ . You can also Copy and Paste this to the address bar to make sure you have the correct address. When entered, this will open a new page with the 14 Components. See the third ScreenShot. On top, you'll see MEI Preload. Second to the very bottom, you'll find the Adobe Flash Player, just above the Woodbine Content Decryption Module. I want you to press the Check For Update. This should fix your Candy Crush Saga problem. If it doesn't, then you have other underlying issues that were created by downloading and installing an incorrect version which is causing conflict with Chrome's built in version.

To Go To Chrome Browser Settings

    Chrome Version

Chrome Components With Flash Player Version That Is Supported

I know this is too much to understand which is why you need a family member who is knowledgeable in Computer Operations to help you fix this issue. Here is the link to Google Chrome Help for more information: https://support.google.com/chrome/?p=help&ctx=menu#topic=7438008

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks!

Thanks for your input. I followed your instructions: I checked the Chrome Components. Below Adobe Flash Player version 32.0.0.303 it says: Status - Component not updated. But when I click on Check for update, nothing happens

But now I've refreshed and it says it is updated. Still no change as Candy Crush is concerned.

I think I've done everything you've told me to. I even deleted what I downloaded from Adobe website. Still, no difference.

Anyway, I don't think there's much to understand, and no one around seems to understand more, so we must all be a pack of dumbs. What we can't understand is what difference might have there been between one row of the game and the next to make it all change, when it all happened in a question of seconds, with nothing in between. I'm almost certain that this has just to do with Candy Crush on Youtube itself.  Also, because I've seen in this same place that this same thing has just happened to, at least, some other person. Also, because something similar happened to me some months ago, but everything went back to normal in a few days, without anyone doing anything. I really hope this gets solved by whoever is responsible for in a few days as well or, I'm afraid, I'll have to give up on Candy Crush, as I can't stand playing this way. Thank you all the same
