Unbiased third party here... This has happened to me as well. It was on an Android device, though, and I don't know if that's what you're on with the problem. It did work for me to log out and back in. It's worth a try! I used to teach people how to do their job and then had to audit and advise when they started DOING it. Words to begin your troubleshooting journey: When in doubt, take it out.Start at beginning.
"Turn off, Wait 30 seconds, Turn on" are the first words out of every tech support specialist I have ever spoken with.
Uninstalling, resetting to factory settings are LAST resorts. You will lose your saved data EVERY time. Only that which is saved on King servers for you will remain.
Force stop the app, clear the cache, go back to see if it's fixed.
I have to do that ALL the time to sync my phone and tablet. I've played the same Nightmare level over again because, duh, I'm STUPID and forgot I passed it! Then I realize, Hey, I beat this level big dummy!
