Hello @Georgia_6219 and welcome to our wonderful community. Did you originally have a king.com account and is that how you were saving your progress in the game? You also mention Facebook. These would be two different accounts. Do you still have a Facebook account? If you do - then you should be able to play the game through Facebook.
I was writing my response while you were writing yours. You mention the wrong photo. When you say its the one from when you write email - do you mean a King.com account? If you are playing via Facebook - the picture that shows on the map should be the same as your Facebook account.
