Since level 5066, I have observed that there appears to be a cap on how many points I can collect.

Since level 5066, I have observed that there appears to be a cap on how many points I can collect.  5 points.  
Is this true and if so, does it state it somewhere?  Seems that you would not want to buy additional items if you can’t use them to increase your chances.  Please advise. Thanks so much.  Susan

    Unable to take screen shot as at the end of the level, it immediately goes to the ‘you failed’ screen.  In the left hand corner, the most points accumulating is 5 (in the quest to reach 180 total for the day) to get boosters along the way. In the past, I would sometimes get as many as 15 in a level. Levels 5066 and 5067 are not letting me past 5 and clearly should be.  Thanks.
