Using gold bars

Can you please put in a fail safe so that we don’t accidentally use gold bars when we lose a level 😡 when trying to hit the give up button, it’s too easy to hit the play on button. It would be nice to be asked “are you sure?” before wasting gold bars on a level we know we’re not going to beat with 5 more moves 😡

This sounds like an Idea you could post HERE.
We've all done the same thing! It asks if you're sure you want to QUIT a level twice, but is more than happy to let you (or in my case my CAT) buy anything you don't want without asking first! 73 gold bars gone cuz Annie-Cat walked her little puddy paws across my tablet when I wasn't looking and spent 73 gold bars on Hand Switches! Really...couldn't she have chosen HAMMERS! I'll vote yes on that referendum!

We warmly welcome you to the Friendly King Community's Candy Crush Saga forum.
Unfortunately what you are claiming can never happen. Accounting is one of the main things in the game so you have to make sure that you can pass the level by using 5 extra moves.
You need to be sure first, then you can use the gold bar for extra moves.
The used booster or gold bar is not refundable.
