I lost ALL my levels. I was nearing 4,000-what’s going on?

i was in the upper three thousandth level, I opened my app today, agreed to new policy changes-I go to play where I left off and I’m back at level 1. What happened?!?!

I should add that I never logged in through Facebook or saved my progress-my mistake-but why did this happen??
