Level looks different

Hello, I gave up on playing Candy Crush Saga years ago when I got to a level I couldn’t pass for months. I decided to give it a try again. I was playing level 334. Couldn’t pass it and, all of a sudden, the level changed its look and got even harder. When I google level 334, I get results for what I saw before. But mine now looks different. Why? The bottom now dispenses bombs AND the black wires (licorice?) and there’s jelly all over. I’m nowhere near passing this. I’m playing on the iPhone app.

I get the updates and all but this happened in the middle of my play. Lost the level, clicked on retry and a completely different look popped up.

@egade .oh, there must be something. Did it happen over and over or was it just once? Sometimes all isn't perfect. There must be a gist or something. Hope that would soon be fixed..

Levels may get updated at times and therefore look different from when other players completed it.

Thank you for all your replies. This is the first time it happened. Not sure if it’ll happen to other levels because I’m afraid that I’ll be stuck here. With all the springs (licorice?) blocking everything that’s coming from above, I’m unable to get even remotely close to the goal. Lives get used up quickly with the exploding bombs that can’t be crushed because all efforts get blocked. I’ll try another few days but this “crushed” my excitement about the game :)

I encountered the same situation with you. The black wire blocks are so hard that my striped candies cannot breakthrough. I have been struck here for nearly a week. It’s so hard. Could anyone help me or I just wait for update after a week?

I'm also struggling at this level 334 and i'm stuck for almost a week now. I think this level is just too hard because of the number of moves allowed to complete this game. I'm starting to get frustrated to this game.

Many levels have been changed. I've been slogging through 291-299, and I'm ready to uninstall the game. Each one takes endless attempts, and even boosters barely help. There simply aren't enough moves to finish without massive luck. I understand having some difficult levels, but it isn't fun to spend days on a level, be forced to pull out all stops to get past it, only to go through the same thing with the next one. The game is not fun anymore.

After multiple days on that level, I started getting extra striped candies and fish and they helped get through this level. The problem is that the following levels are just as hard now. Definitely losing interest in the game. Not sure how people get through the thousands of levels if I can’t get through the 300’s. :) :)
