Ahh, I see - thanks christinewupp for the update. My experience this year was that I was playing on multiple devices, and that some devices gave me the contest and others didn't. In my case I wasn't able to figure out why some and not others.

I got knocked out on stage 5 this year, due to one guy who was slightly faster than me. Next year I'm considering waiting a day or two to start that stage, hoping that they pair me with other people who waited a day or two. I don't want to crush nonstop for 4 days. Any thoughts on that?

I solved the problem by deleting the Candy Crush app and reinstalling. Luckily I had saved with Facebook, I only lost about 20 levels that I had passed since the app went offline.

Thanks Tony. I checked and there are no apps available for either Candy Crush or Android OS. I have restarted the phone several times. I also cleared cache on the Candy Crush app, and performed a hard stop on the app. Phone: SAMSUNG-SM-G900V Android version: 5.0. Android security patch level: 2016-02-01
