I have come to the conclusion, in addition to spending cash money to buy boosters will cause CC to take away bonus booster features, that certain operating systems do not support some of the features of Candy Crush. Are you all playing on a PC? I don't get pop ups, but I play on a Samsung tablet and a Samsung phone.
