Every time I reload the game I get a reset of donated lives; click 'refresh' and it either wipes out lives or gives you a few more. It seems totally random.
Because someone else mentioned it happened to them on their Mac? No, I like the game on FB, that's the convenient place for me to play. I'll just carry on with it there, but it seems a problem that has affected quite a few in different situations, so is worth mentioning.
Sounds like it's a problem that's not specific to browsers, then. I'm constantly robbed of lives, delaying my gameplay and making me less interested in playing overall. I can't see why there's no-one thinking that it could be a problem for King, rather than the browser, as it's obviously on a different browser?
Did anyone using the FB app get the hunt for 14000 (I think) orange candies? It said it would give out rewards, including 40 gold bars, on February 1st. I've not received any notification of this, having reached the objective...
I also have this problem. I use Win10, Facebook platform, never clear my cache, but in recent weeks the game keeps coming up with 'update to terms and conditions' and clearing the lives I've had, with all game features being presented as if I'm new to the game. However, everything else (boosters) stays in place. Sound…
Thanks, guys. I use Windows 10 on the Facebook platform. It used to happen every few weeks, then more regularly, now it's most times I go on to the game. The other elements (gold bars, boosters) remain the same, it's just the lives that are wiped out.
Useful to know the issue is something that's being monitored and you're aware of it! I know that the system isn't perfect, but if there's a fix found in the end, all will be well.
Yes, it's frustrating that I'd reached the culmination of my gold chocolate box, was just about to enjoy a free hour's worth of lives and the other bonuses that came with it, only for it to give this message...
Some reported the same on the candycrushsagaallhelp page, but it seems to sort itself out rather randomly as I've now managed to get it to fall by doing the same as I'd previously done several times. Odd, but I guess it's not going to hold people up for too long.
I decided to throw every booster at it and, after a few more where the cherry didn't fall into the right space, it randomly did. Presumably there's a random algorithm that determines from which square the lower one is filled? Seems a bit unscientific as you can't plan moves accordingly...
I've done a complete reboot, cleared my cache, LOST ALL 80+ of my lives that I'd saved up, and STILL I get a few hundred instead of thousands for the bombs!!! I only play on FB. AAARRRGGGHHH!!!
Rebooted the PC and it still doesn't work. Not sure what people mean about 'logging out' as you simply close Facebook and load the page back in again. Anyway, the problem is still most definitely there, despite the advice.
Sadly it hasn't solved it - I've closed the window and re-laoded the page but got the identical result. Scoring at 10% of the normal rate still. Does the whole machine have to be turned off (lots of other stuff on the computer so really wanting to avoid that!)
As it's a 'test' they'll be seeing how many of us buy lives, to see whether they can monetise such a decision. Don't buy more lives - as most of you say, you're far more likely to simply delete the game. They'll learn that their constant need for greed will backfire and that they should encourage more, happier players as…
I'm sticking to Angry Birds - they make plenty of money for Rovio but have no restriction on how much you play. That's what's enjoyable about it - I can dip in and play for a few minutes or an hour, depending on my mood, and with CC all I get is a couple of minutes' gameplay followed by a five hour wait before the next…
Just playing on my Facebook laptop version of the game and I've suddenly got an hour until the next life, or at least, after some time playing, it says there are nearly 50 minutes until the next life comes up. Is this a glitch, or is this the latest way of stopping people playing the game?
As you know, top players are complaining that these are not dependent on brain power, they are predominantly based on luck. That's why I complain if I find something that's near-enough impossible. We strongly get the feeling that the idea is to make us pay for boosters because, as you say, many levels now aren't possible…
