Ashen33 this happened to me with the event before this one. Did you play past levels or did you just play new levels? For this one I just played a lot of new levels and managed to stay top for over a day without having to grind past levels.

If I use play store they can't charge me for additional stuff I don't purchase? I've heard it's happened to other people before

It's definitely rigged to stop you from winning so many prizes. I've already won several of everything but I rarely get past 2 wins now as I'm in the high tier so I stopped playing it
