These changes and the new Animal Crossing game have made it an easy decision where my current free time will go. So long Candy Crush! The 6650 levels together were fun while it lasted.
How about no timed boosters and return to earned boosters? Timed boosters do not encourage long time players to play this game on a daily basis. There is no reason to.
I think it has disappeared for those of us that have plowed through the current levels and have some boosters in our stockpile. It seems to be the way for King to whittle down our opportunities to earn stuff that can help us with levels and attempt to get us to buy them instead. Everything now is either timed or gone. I'm…
The sugar drops changes have been a mistake and should be changed back to the way they were. You can't get loyal players to spend money by twisting their arms. In fact, that is what pushes them away.
I'm just about to drop this game as well. Finished with all of the current mobile levels, but noticed they cut out the challenges that we could do every 12 hours for a hammer and other boosters. Also, the change they made to the sugar drops is really stupid. Having it now where you can't see where you are at when you start…
I don't think they can listen and count their money at the same time. They are hoping that we join the list of suckers willing to drop another 3 bucks at a time just to pass a level.
I finished off the 30 new levels but will not be returning to the game to play until next week. I will, however, collect the daily spin and bonuses but will take a vacation from the game. Hoping to get to level 5000 and then kiss this game goodbye. My vision will thank me for it.
The game of baseball is over a hundred years old and is still played the same way. Don't change something if it is working just because it is a few years old.
Allowing us to earn regular boosters on old levels is the only way to keep it interesting. Otherwise, why would we want to be playing those old levels again and again?
We all know this basically boils down to money. They want people to buy boosters and not be able to earn them. It's pretty simple. Infuriating to those of us that have been playing the game for years. Yes, greed often wins out.
If the Build A Bot and other boosters that we used to be able to collect are not restored to the way they used to be, I will likely kiss this game goodbye. Sitting on 4460 right now with a full bot that I can't even use. If it is reset next week then what is the reason for people that have supported this game up to this…
This looks to be the really poor direction that Candy Crush is heading. I posted about it in another thread. It has me second guessing as to whether to continue playing beyond 4460.
This has to be one of the dumbest decisions so far. Why punish players that have stuck with CC for years by taking away our ability to get boosters on older levels and use them to replay older levels? I'll see how this pans out over the next week, but it might be time for me to move on from this game after wrapping up 4490…
