When I go into candy crush a screen pops up that says update app when I select update it doesn't take me anywhere. I've been trying for over one week. It's like froze. I deleted game and installed the new Candy Crush Soda. But that update screen keeps coming back up and I can't get passed it. Any suggestions

Candy Crush Soda has frozen after I missed a day.
There's no option for my game to save my progress. Only option it shows is when I click on the profile photo it shows my username, my current level, country and an edit option which I'm not able to click. I'm currently on level 2863 and want to save the progress. My username is king4341
The helps aren't working on a regular basis. Are there rules for those things? ☹️
