Bubblegum hill: boosters show up pre-level but don't apply in-level

I have one of the daily bonuses (Endless color bombs) in action. If I go to a normal level, I can see it in the pre-level screen, and when I play the level, the color bomb appears - all good so far. However, in Bubblegum Hill, it appears on the pre-level screens but doesn't appear in the actual level itself. This only seems to have started happening today, but it might be since most recent update earlier this week. I've restarted the app several times. I'm playing on iPhone 5, iOS 10. thanks

It seems to be fixed with the latest IOS update.

I am having this problem too. My booster shows up on regular level. On bubblegum hill it only showed up on level 2&4. I tried adding a booster (other than my daily) on level 5 and that didn’t show up either!

Not an answer as such, but it seems back to normal with the latest Bubblegum Hill.

I am having this problem as well. It is very annoying. The boosters were what helped me reach level 5!

Ads are freezing and having to close app each time
Whenever I choose to watch ads for a bonus or extra lives etc, the ads have started to freeze. It’s the ad for teaching or education or something. It’s so annoying. I’m losing levels because of it and happened about 6-10 times in the last hour I have been playing. What is causing this?
