why can't I sign in through facebook on candy crush soda saga anymore?

I've been playing candy crush soda saga from the microsoft store on my windows 10 laptop for a year and a half and always sign in through facebook; but the last two days I'm unable to sign in and it's not saving my progress.  Is this a temporary glitch in the game?  The gameis all updated.

Hi Karen, that is strange!  Have you ever tried to play the game through the Kingdom?  I haven't played through Facebook in ages because there are always problems with it.  So far so good playing through the Kingdom.  You can follow the directions from here to get into the Kingdom:  https://www.elsalanger.net/blog/what-is-my-user-id-and-where-can-i-find-it

But Kingdom doesn't give you daily boosters and quests like with my device's store game signed in through facebook, and it's full screen.  Why is that if the game is by Kingdom?

Yes you should get the same challenges through the Kingdom.  The challenges are just not working at the moment so if you don't see one of them it could be because they took it off for a fix.

Can you please explain what is happening when you try to log-in through Facebook?  Are you playing on PC or Mobile device?  Will it be possible for you to take 1 or 2 Screenshots what it does/shows when you are logging in?
