Booster glitch or something new?

I really want to keep playing this game but everyday there is something new that is so frustrating, I'm ready to say enough!! I went to play my next level 2831 and it will not allow me to select any boosters. All my boosters have locks on them. There is no way I will attempt this level without boosters. Given the prior changes to the game where it is now difficult to even earn boosters, taking away quests and contests, why would the game now restrict when I can use them? Is this a glitch or something new to contend with?

Just beat it first try without even trying.  Frankly not letting you waste boosters is doing you a favor.  I believe it’s an introduction to a new mechanic with blockers and nothing more.

I did go ahead and try it, and it was surprisingly easy. You don't see that at the higher levels. I just want my daily quests back. It was the only way to get boosters without buying them. You shouldn't have to pay to play a game.

Hi @Karen_D, are you referring to Candy Crush Soda Saga or Candy Crush Saga?  There has been a couple of players reporting that issue but it was for Candy Crush Saga.  Maybe it's something new for Soda too.  Can you possibly do a print screen so that I can get a better idea of what's happening on your end?  Here is a link if you need help with a print screen:

Hi @Karen_D. ,

As @Wiggles777 said perfectly, this level has no option to use boosters intentionally so that you can all focus on experimenting the new blocker and understanding how it works.

We hope you all liked it! As you mentioned yourselves, the level is relatively easy compared to others so not having boosters shouldn't be an issue .
