if the candy on the last line is not a wrapped one, but has a different value....
well, it has stopped being maths and has turned to pure guessing.
It has stopped being cute and got rather silly, no?

Thanks for tagging me, @Pummy_Raj! My answer is 19.
@Anne_Martin, it took me a few minutes to figure it out too, but it's almost so obvious that it's impossible! I would tell you how I came to my answer, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to. It might ruin it for everyone.

it may be obvious in CCS, like a striped fish is a fish combined with a striped, then worth 10 (or 21, 7.3), but the wrapped candy is just weird. You get to say it is worth 13, and 4 for the cupcake, for no reason. Maths don't work like that.

ok, I finally see what I did not before. the weird wrapped candy is a fish combined with a wrapped.
    So, 19, okay.

    Level 1

I think the answer is 20. It really didn't take too long do the math... I think... LOL... I almost missed the minus, instead of add... 💛💛💛

    15                    9                    21                    20                    -25
              -6                      12                    -1                   -45
                           18                    -13                  -44
                                       -31                    -31

                         Differences didn't converge.

    @Xarly

I will go with -25. This is my Final Answer, right or wrong! As I understand it, in Mathematics,  Number Sequence Series should converge to Zero, otherwise you'll have an infinite sequence of the partial sums.

Ok I am taking a guess at it.  I say that it's 27.

if it were multiplying instead of adding, then it could be
    (3x7) +(3x10) - 4= 47
but why would not the cupcake be 1 or 2?

which would make it 48 or 49

I don’t know if @Xarly wants us to share how we got our answers here but since @Anne_Martin shared her thoughts then I am going to share how I got 27.
    The cupcakes are 5 each, 5 + 5 + 5 = 15
    The fish are 3 each
    The striped are 7 each
next row is fish 3, striped 7 which equals 10 so the wrapped has to be 10 to equal 20
    The final row is:
fish is 3, wrapped is 10 so I am adding them together to equal 13
fish is 3 and striped is 7 so add them to equal 10
cupcake is 5 but it lost the top layer so it should now be 4
    13 + 10 + 4 = 27

    So now discredit my answer!

Hey! Would you like to give us your opinion?
