Swedish fish booster

I’ve been playing for a long time I recently surpassed level 5,000. My question is that the fish booster for me does nothing and never has. Thus I have so many cause I don’t use them ...in Candy Crush they work to your benefit ...when I use this booster they come in the beginning of the game and do actually nothing ...what are they for???

@TamiT - When you in a regular game combine 2 fish, they become 3. With the Booster, EVERY fish used for that game will Double up. Very handy when you need to get to 3 or 4 spots to clear something in one go.

@TamiT I noticed you got to level 5000 without using Swedish fish booster! I don't think I can pass some levels without it. Good job!

I love Swedish fish in Soda saga.. not so much in candy crush though!
