I H-A-T-E the "hints". They are never a good idea and it's hard to ignore them when I'm thinking about my next move. I have found no way to disable them on the candy crush soda game.

So what, nothing is going to change. Players have been asking for this for years and no change.

I get hints for a possible next move, but I also get another flashing candy where NO move is possible on the same screen. Not sure how to get this corrected. It is distracting.

I think this is also a hint thing. So if you can't disable hints, you can't get rid of that either. If you are at a certain level, you can activate for example a striped candy by clicking on it, you don't need to match it with the same color. So, the game is probably hinting this. Very distracting, I agree.
