on Facebook there is no way to sign in or out of candycrushsoda the only cog wheel is blue and only lets you turn off sound and music that is on firefox and sarfari browsers so where is the signout area?

Facebook's game platform is a direct platform and you will not find any option to log out of the game on that platform. You can return to the Facebook homepage instead of logging out of the game from the Facebook game platform, moreover, as soon as you log out the Facebook account, the game will be logged out immediately.

Yes, on facebook when you play, there is no such option. Either you set the browser so that it automatically opens a second window when you open another page. Or you can open a second window in the browser from the start. After the game you close the browser window.
