Striped candy

Is all striped candy meant to blow everything within the row/column it explodes to. I have sometimes striped candy only do 2 or 3 within entire row/column.

Do the striped candies have different strengths or are they all meant to blow everything in that particular direction.

I understand that it will only blow 1 layer of something and not every layer but why is it that even at times the striped candy doesn't even blow any more than 1 to 3 tiles in the direction

From my experience I'd say it depends on the type of blockers present on the board and its power.

Striped candy can blast through rows or columns of candies, frost, cupcakes, pancakes blockers with no issue but the blast is stopped when it comes across a liquorice swirl. one layer swirl is destroyed but other items beyond it are not hit.

Striped lollipop hammer works the same way, its blasts are blocked by liquorice swirls

Edit. Upon checking, yes, liquorice is the blocker that has the ability to be resistant to striped candies and color bombs actions.

In which conditions of blockers do you see a limited power of striped candy? 😀

First the lines on the striped candies show you the way they will explode. Also if there is a black box thing in that row it stops the explosion.

Thank you for your response but there will be no liquorice candy obstructing the direction and yet the striped candy will not always blow or for that matter affect everything within the direction it is going at.

There have been multiple occasions where the striped candy will only affect 1 to 3 candies in the entire row and is quite frustrating when I need and expect it to affect the last candy in that direction. It's like at times certain explosions don't have enough power to go through the entire row/column.

If none else is experiencing this than it must simply be my game is glitches for whatever reason

Maybe reload the game. However make sure you dont hsve a lot of boosters and you saved your game so you won't lose where your at on the level. I can say though I think it has happened to me before but not always. Good luck

Hello @charlesleeray

Visuals of explosions have been tweaked lately by Soda Studio to make them last less and look like less "explosive" than they were before in order to speed up animations in the game. So the appearance was changed; however the core ability of a booster/special candy or blocker has not been altered.

I'm not sure if this might be a factor here since you mention multiple occasions

However I don't exclude rare glitches so I'm happy to forward this to community manager to investigate this if this keeps happening.

Are you able to take game screenshots and post them here or better yet screenrecord your gameplay and upload it on a youtube channel? They would really help the studio understand where the problem is
