We tried out two areas . We purchased the large pasties that were stuffed with Chicken Steak. They also had some with pork, apples, and just plain vegetables. I love chicken so I got carried with with the chicken pasties. The ones stuffed with steak had plenty of potatoes . I still haven't tried out the chicken They are the smaller pasties They crust is very thick and can be used to contain the ingredients. I wish I had brought back some that were filled with apples. Might be looking at another road trip.
The larger one was from another resturant. The owner that made the larger pasties told us us that smaller one was more traditional to what the miners had.
I will be having the one of each today for dinner.
They must be pretty good customers were buying them by the dozen.
I had the large pasties stuffed with chicken those were alot better than the smaller ones. The large one had a white sauce along with mushrooms . The smaller ones were dry.
I won't be buying the little ones anymore.
