On the events section it says "Back soon" but in the group chat I keep getting messages saying a layer has been baked and there are prizes to be collected. Why can't I help bake or collect prizes? I haven't had this problem before. Any ideas?

Hi everyone!
We understand your frustration with Bake A Cake not being available and have shared the feedback with the studio making Candy Crush Soda Saga.
At the moment, most Soda features is not available to all players at all times. With so many fun features in the game, we sometimes have to spread out the fun a bit. This means it's not an error if you have different features available in your game from your friends game for example. It's likely at times you will have things your friends don't have and vice versa. I understand this can be annoying though, and have provided the feedback to the studio.
But don't worry, Bake A Cake will be back in your game in the future! 😊

It's not working for me either. I see in the chat section for the event section that it says my teammates are begging pieces of cake and that we got new Rewards, but for some reason I can't play and it's not showing up on my event screen. Does anybody have any advice, please help!!!!!!!

Same here, it’s been nearly 2 weeks since I’ve been allowed to bake the cake, it’s very frustrating seeing others getting the points and obviously the rewards while I’m stuck on waiting for it to show. Why can others still play it but not some.?
Any resolution? I’m having the same issue on my iPhone 14. Unable to play the bakery event. yet I’m seeing tons of other people that are earning rewards on it. Thank you

Have been unable to bake cake for several days. Teammates are advancing but not me.

We're working hard to resolve the issues with the Bake a Cake feature, but unfortunately, we have not been able to find a solution that works for everyone yet. I understand that this has been frustrating for many of you, but I wanted to let you know that developers are investigating this issue. This however, means the issues will likely still be in the next round of Bake a Cake that starts today.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to resolve the issues. We know that many of you have invested a lot of time and effort in Soda and we are doing everything we can to ensure that you can continue to enjoy the game to the fullest.

Hopefully the Developers will listen! Can't wait to bake the cake again. My team mates are busy right now baking without me. It won't be as pretty for I am the "prize winning" cake decorator! 😊

Why has the bakery not worked for over a week? I spend a lot of money when I bake the cakes it is really the only reason I play this game. I am at the point where I am looking in other games and not in king.com that I can spend my money and there are less technical issues. Your loss.

Unfortunately, there are more players who were unable to open the event Bake a Cake and reported it. The CM had an update:
”Hi everyone!
But don't worry, Bake A Cake will be back in your game in the future!”

I won’t be playing until I get the bakery back. It never goes well when you take something away from people. Also, I keep getting the notifications about the bakery which makes it very annoying to not have it.

🙂 Mine opened up today so I would think it could also be the same for others? Since it closed down on around June 1st (around 3 weeks), perhaps that's the time frame?

It seems like it might be because since we finished the cake today, the sign changed to "Bakery opens soon!" and I can see Olivia in the background whereas before it's just plain "Coming Soon" with blank magenta background.☺️

Do you see “Coming Soon” ? Also, did you see a pop-up to play Bake a Cake?
You can try to force close the game, check for game updates (there was a fix for Bake a Cake) log in.
I hope you will see the event 🙂
I know how to fix it. I did this of course. The preview is available. On mobile and pc, but it usually comes this morning. After the dachs didn't want to appear at friends for weeks, the next event has disappeared
