Exactly the same is happening with me. I used to regularly send and receive lives no trouble, now I’m getting 20+ life/booster requests (some people I don’t even recognise as team mates/friends) at one time yet I’m not receiving a single life or booster in the 24 hour time period it gives you. When I first started playing a couple years back I was under the impression that giving lives to people meant loosing one yourself until I learned that wasn’t the case, so I can imagine some people may be under the same impression but not enough people to account for not receiving a single life/booster. It feels like a money making thing, I think the requests I don’t recognise as friends are false requests to give the impression that the system works when really it’s aim is to limit life sharing in order for people to have no choice but to buy lives if they want to continue playing.
I was doing the the date and time trick where you set your phone 24 hours ahead but when I do I loose any timed boosters I’ve got and also loose my batula ball and go down a tier.
honestly loosing interest in all sagas. We’re constantly asked asked for feedback/suggestions and they make the stupidest changes that no one asked for and ignore everything the community says in the name of being greedy and making more money.

I agree, I used to get dozens of lives from team and friends, now nothing, yet I get their requests which I alway send , I’ve had about 4lives given this week, not cake as you say, not getting any thing from anywhere, I literally have to wait for life to be replaced after 20 minutes every time, they’ve ruined it

Feel the same. Keep giving out lives but don’t get any in return.

I was comming here to complain as well. I always give lives and now the choice is to remove from friend's list. I now can only get one life and I have to wait to refill up who wants to play one life and then have to come back 30 mins later. You all just want us to either not play your games or play other competitors games and stay away from yours. Not a good upgrade. The only thing I like about the upgrade are the bolder colors.

Since the UI upgrade, I no longer have the ability to ask my team for lives, will that option be coming back. I also can only ask for 1 life from all friends, not 1 life from each friend.

We don't know if the option to request lives from your teammates will return.
For now, if you have the latest Social Hub, you can request a life there. A player gave the tip, as soon as you lose 1 life (so you don't have 5 lives left) immediately request a new life. There is no limit on life requests. You can read player’s tip 👉 here
