Let us wave a white flag in Shipmates

What often happens is that I will have sunk one or two of the other person's rafts on day one, and they will have sunk three of mine. The only player left on my side isn't playing, and the other person is taking their sweet time to kill my last raft off.

I can win Shipmates in a day most of the time, so it's pointless for me to have to sit around for several days, just waiting to lose.

So let us wave a white flag, giving the other person the win, and allowing us to move on to the next game.
