Surf tournament not showing up

Hello! I just downloaded Candy Crush Soda Saga to play the special event connected to the WSL (surf tournament) but I don't see anything relating to it in the app.
how can I partecipate to the surf tournament?
(can I do it even if I play from Italy?)

Participants need to be at level 37 or above, you may read more infos in terms and conditions of Tournament here
Country shouldn't be a problem because I play from Italy too and I see the tournament round.
If you still don't see it after restarting device and playing any level a few times to reconnect to the servers then it's possible the event is not available at the moment. Read here for more infos

Thank you! It worked! I wasnβt level 37 still.
Now the WSL theme shows in the background of the map and yellow candies are shaped like surfboards.
But I still donβt see anything related to the tournament or the number of yellow surfboards/candies I have collected. I know thereβs rounds eccβ¦ but I donβt see anything apart from what I told you. Am I competing already?

Rounds for qualification ended I'm afraid. Wild card round ended two days ago π
Eighth final round started today.
It's likely players who didn't manage to get to the eighth finals will get a similar event (hunt for yellow candies) but with boosters as prize for the first three players in the leaderboard. This is how it worked for Adventure Tournament

When u enter the game u can press the go back button n re-enter again. Don't exit the game just press the back button then enter.again,.keep doing it, until it comes in.

Relating to Pitty_Kitty response, I must say Iβm surprised because a Wildcard round actually appeared. I played a lot and I was first when it ended, around 12 a.m. today (CEST time). I received an epic wonderball but that was it.
The event disappeared again and nothing new has shown up. I still see the wsl bear when I open the app, the bear and the yeti surfing in the background of the map and the surfboards instead of the yellow candies, but when I win levels they donβt add up to anything, as no event shows up.
I read that the first one who classifies as a wildcard should enter the tournament but there was no mention of which round of the tournament it would be (I saw thereβs at least 2 wildcards available, one during eights and one during quarterfinals).
Do you have any idea of what I should do to continue in the tournament?
Iβll try going to the home button and to the map again and again hoping something will show up π

Hi!
I am also surprised. From the schedule given to us there were supposed to be two wild card rounds which already ended.
But a third one appeared so I'm not sure what it means in relation to the tournament.
I'll see if I can find more infos about this.
The Surf theme and background stay in the game for all players until a new season starts in the game and brings a new theme
