Drawing upon my years of business experience, I believe that interrupting a competition, resetting it, altering rules frequently, or making constant adjustments can be perceived as impolite. Ideally, it would have been preferable to conclude the contest at the initial sign of trouble. Constructive feedback, even if critical, is welcomed. I express genuine apologies if anyone was upset.
