He/she is on top of you leaderboard, but he/she may sit at the end of his/her own leaderboard. Therefore he has a motivation to push him playing. Does not get bored. A player could be used in different leaderboards, ie. You can see him, but he may not see you.
If a new player is at very low level, do not register, ie. name is kingxxxx, and he can pass levels incredibly fast. He maybe a pro player restart another account, chase the prizes only. After a period of time, he could combine this account with he own registered account.
I thought you already know these, I just express my opinions.

The second place player played 30 levels, and I played 45 levels to stay ahead.
Based on my experience in the last Winter Cup, friends in the community will inevitably meet each other eventually. Although I lost to @huynhduc , but we became friends, haha.
I can only try my best to stay in the game while maintaining the advantage. This time I don’t have a strong desire to win.
