I reinstalled the game, and it set my soda streak back to day one. I just played last night.

Sorry to hear you reinstalled the game. The Daily Bonus streak is stored in your device's memory, as well as boosters and extra lives. (This also means that when you reinstall the game you will delete this data, and only if you saved your game with a King or Facebook account you find your progress and gold bars, when using the same account.) Unfortunately, the streak cannot be restored, sorry.
