Sorry to hear that you see it that way - to be clear the selection process for adding new moderators is not based on popularity or a contest of who knows the most about the game. We decided on adding Jess and Palash as we believe they will be very helpful in making an inviting space for other Soda players. That's not to say that others wouldn't do that of course - but that's the decision we came to.

I also want to note that becoming a moderator shouldn't be seen as a prize or a promotion, again, the main purpose is to help other Soda players to enjoy this space. There were quite a few players who applied for moderator, including the ones that you promoted in the previous thread. While becoming a mod gives some power, it also requires responsibility to balance things out.

I believe that all players here have a place in the community and play a role. Even if one isn't a moderator, we do gather the feedback and opinions of players here, with the help of moderators. So not becoming a mod shouldn't be seen as a "loss" as one can do other things to help here in the forum!

As mentioned in the other thread however, we'll keep the applications open in case we will need to expand the moderation team in the future.
