OMG. It is so aggravating. How do I stop in-game hints?

Yeah, I hate it too.
Go to blue wheel icon on the top right corner. There you should see how to remove hints.1 -
Well it used to work but suddenly the option to turn off hints (that I had just had for some weeks) suddenly disappeared. Now I can only choose color or sound effects. I have not changed anything myself and the game is updated. This is just a nuisance and I think they are doing this on purpose. It is really bad in my opinion.

Hmmm, stupid of them to remove that option. I still have that option in my game. But I noticed weird format when I click that settings wheel. Try move your device from landscape mode to portrait mode twice and see.

Thanks for the idea, but it is still the same unfortunately. Weird also that it is different for different players

Same here, no option to turn it off, very distracting.
