Oh my sweet @Amoonmoon , I am just now reading about your illness. I am so so sorry you are going thru this.
Only 1 person in the community knows about what my husband and I have been going thru since last October. I will now tell you, because you really never know how things will turn out. For us it was our faith and trying to be positive. And don't give up.
Joe (my husband) after alot, and I mean alot, of scans, 4 endoscopies, blood tests, oncologists and doctors, told us in December that there is nothing they can do. He has 3-4 months left. I refused to stop there and just wait the time out. I got all of his results from every Dr. and started talking to people and Dr's and asking if they knew any good surgeons. I finally found a surgeon that said he would try to see if he could go in and take the cancer out. He had about a 10% chance the cancer could be scooped out. But the Dr said if we want to try it, he will try. He found another surgeon to join him. As of last week after a 5 1/2 hour surgery they were able to do what needs to be done. Is he out of the woods completely, no we still need to keep on the right track. But it is all worth it.
The moral of this story, it is to have somebody on your side to help you fight thru this. Sometimes you might not be strong enough to fight that hard. Fight as long as you can. You just never know, who knows a Dr, that will try their best to help you live.
I wish I could have said this privately because I do not throw my private business out there, but for you my sweet friend, I wanted to.
And please everyone this is not about me, so no comments please. This is about our sweet Amoon.
