Here are my possible tips to play candy crush soda in 2025 (read carefully)*:
Do not spend your gold until you reach level 200. You will need to have gold in your account when you reach levels 205 and over. Before this the game will let you win every level eventually within the moves given. Replay the levels until you pass. Try to win every soda race to earn the gold bars (only start from weekend). Every player can win this, the opposition is just recordings picked by King for you to "compete" against. It is all about the time it takes you from starting to the finish. So never pass the first level unless you have time to play all 15 levels (if the Soda Race is on) or play forever (if the soda race is off). Candy Crush Soda cannot be played without having gold bars. So use them wisely. I would recommend to never spend them on a level not marked with a skull, for if you do you will run out. Unmarked levels will usually give you a lucky board to help you pass within a few attempts. Don't be fooled to keep your win streak at all costs. Many levels are designed to be impossible on the first try but will then be easy on the second try (especially the earliest levels 1-200). Many of levels that are marked super and ultra hard levels are often impossible to pass unless you make a colour bomb/double fish, colour bomb/coloring candy or other combos.
Mechanisms to pass most levels depend on making combos of special candies, amount of colors and the flow directions. Most levels that candies can be fall down; some levels the candies can fall in every directions: up, left, right, parabols, etc., this can be hard to create more cascades even with few colors. If the game does not drop the right candies for you to make these combos you will not pass. For such levels (normally marked ultra or super hard) you need to keep gold in your account to pay for extra moves. If you get close enough use the gold on your first attempt. If you are not close then forfeit the level and replay it until the game offers you enough moves for 10 gold.
To improve your chances of passing super and ultra hard levels always play starting colour bomb (or coloring candy) and wrap/stripe/double fish or colour bomb and coloring candy. However to be more sure, I would recommend to use following boosters: color bomb/coloring candy/double fish. The first try on these levels is always your best chance to pass: You will have the win streak booster as well as the pre level boosters. The game takes this into account and may allow you get close or to pass with these. If you get close use a booster or pay gold to pass. If you fail then do not waste any more boosters on these levels! Once failed replay until you can pass with extra moves and pay the gold for these. If you get to watch ads for free moves or boosters in your game do not make a purchase with real money: The moment anyone spends real money in the game the ads disappear.
Play the right booster at the right time: To play boosters wisely you will need a feel of the game. The booster that is required is part of each board design and if you play the wrong boosters they will be wasted.
Boosters are often wasted if played in the middle of a level. Unless you see an opportunity to finish a level early I would recommend this:
Play a double color bomb, colour bomb/double fish, coloring candy/double fish or colour bomb + coloring candy if available as a first move, but just before you strike it check the mechanism for winning. So if you can use a hand switch to bring two colour bombs or color bomb + coloring candy side by side, it's a great way to help pass an ultra hard level. I recommend to avoid swap two coloring candies together, as they won't help you enough to pass even though they are benefical that can create a lot of cascades, especially when there are too many blockers and the board is too narrrow.
Lollipop, cross and supersonic lollipops are best kept for the last few moves of a level. There seems to be an algorithm/mechanism in those last few moves that determines which booster, if played, will help pass a level. Don't waste them in the middle of levels thinking you can out-trick the game: The game sets the rules and if we play boosters that were not intended by the design they will just be wasted.
