Pls read carefully this page before playing, especially new players who are just starting out. The game almost no telling you how to break these blockers.

Just like other candy crush games, blockers are the most common element in candy crush soda saga designed to obstruct matches and create obstacles. These objects can occupy one or more of the following functions: prevent from taking up space, accessing and using candies, level from being completed, multiplies and replace candies, and more.

Typically, blockers take up a square (except jelly cake, which occupy four, and peppermint stick which go between squares). Blockers threaten the combination of candies and can often be very annoying. There are various blockers throughout the game. Every blocker has unique properties, such as chocolate being able to multiply if not broken in one move and liquorice swirls being resistant to striped candy powers. Some blockers are harder to remove than others. Blockers are the main obstacles of the board, so it's advisable to clear them as quickly as possible.

Unlike candy crush saga, without order levels, it is not necessary to clear all blockers but still may have to clear them in most levels. Near every level has at least one type of blocker. Levels can have up to five to ten different types of blockers, or even more. Despite some blockers being pests, some are useful.
