This is a VERY good point! I would like to know EXACTLY when it will be paused! Is it tonight since you’re letting us know today and there’s no “bake a cake” tomorrow? Or will we still have it for another week when the “bake a cake returns on Thursday? So many questions! Please give us the answer to when it stops.

The reason I didn't put a date in is because it will vary from player to player (and I don't know who 😥), they are starting a small test next week on Monday - Wednesday, but it won't affect all players.

There are currently no plans to make further changes to teams or Bake-A-Cake 🙏

I'm glad that you enjoy playing in the teams, and I understand that due to the Team Chat removal earlier it's hard to trust this type of announcement. This time I made my best efforts to have the change communicated in advance.
As for the reasoning, there really isn't any other reason than that the feature seemingly wasn't very used besides for a small number of players. In general the studio continuously looks at the features and test what is and isn't popular (as well as balanced for the game). I wasn't here when the feature got implemented, but I can imagine that they tested versions of it earlier and decided that they had tested everything they could for this.
It may sound like empty words now but I still have high hopes for Soda this year, so I'm hoping I get to announce some more fun and exciting additions to Soda to you all soon.

Your reply seems to be wrong. When I opened the game about an hour ago, the team rankings are already gone! I’ve played this game for a pretty long time and a big part of my enjoyment recently was connecting with a team and chatting together and working together to play the different aspects to get personal AND team rewards. First I lost the chat option and now the chance to work together as a team to gain rewards for everyone! Why??? This seems very counterproductive to the stated goals to bring players together. I’m extremely disappointed!

Yes my Team Rewards are gone also! I checked a couple of hours ago. I was on again recently but didn't check Team Rewards til now and they're gone. So sad 😔!
I did enjoy doing Team Rewards with my team/teams and I will continue playing regardless of no Chat or Team Rewards!

They were there a couples ago when I checked and just went back on and seen they were gone! I'm gonna miss them 😔! I never did have a Chat option but I did chat with teammates on here 😊! And will continue too cause I'm still gonna be playing! I'm probably gonna go back to my other team though! Not sure if Team Rewards got removed there yet or not but regardless if they did I'm still gonna stay with them! 😊 They are a good team!! 😊

If they are getting rid of team rankings they should put back the big red exit button back on the main menu
