What are these Mastery levels I am playing after Level 16600? They aren't numbered in the regular sequence. They don't seem to play any differently than regular levels, so what is different about them?

I'm so sorry if what I said earlier sounded harsh or unkind. I truly understand how frustrating and exhausting the Mastery Level can be, and I share your concerns — I don’t view it very positively either. Although King Digital Entertainment designed it with a certain intention, I personally see it differently.
In fact, I rarely play the Mastery Level before the classic level updates every Friday. Why? Because recently, the new CCSS levels have become increasingly difficult, and on top of that, the randomly appearing Mastery Levels are quite challenging as well. It’s completely understandable to feel discouraged when a single failure wipes out all the progress you’ve made.
Please know that you’re not alone in feeling this way, and I’m here to support you as best as I can. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you want more advice or tips — we’re in this together.

The mastery level is like an event that happens when you reach the end of a regular level. I'll correct it and let you know. As of May 23, 2025, the CCSS was up to level 16720 based on Samsung Android and Apple iOS (mobile) and Windows up to 16810. It has to be at this level or higher to open.
Since the update is every Friday, I think it was probably held with the intention of taking some time to upgrade your skills before the update. I also regret that the free item booster usage time has been reduced from 2 hours to 30 minutes, and since the mastery level is random, not from the regular level previously set, it's like solving a completely new math problem, so if you don't clear it once, your winning streak, which has been valid so far, will disappear, and the mega-color bomb will also disappear, so the next update will have to pass 10 levels to reactivate it. Of course, I understand that it's gotten harder, but I think it's acceptable to some extent.
Depending on the situation, there may or may not be an advertisements to get free additional 5 moves when you use all the moves given at that level. In other words, you can consider it a probability. I would like to point out that it operates in the same way as the classic level and there are no exceptions.
I agree with everyone here.. these levels are sooo hard to beat anymore. May 25th im on level 16640 and they're almost impossible to beat..the ads are hardly there anymore..the extra move at the end are rarely there.. they changed the daily booster from 2 hours to 30 mins.. who in there right mind would like 30 mins over 2 hours..it makes no sense!.. change it back to the way it was before..I don't even wanna play anymore..i can't beat any of the levels anymore..
I'm sick of this mastery level. I've been stuck in it for months.
No fun to play this game anymore as no Rewards earned during week. Only when door dissappears on Friday. It's only Saturday and I'm already back on Mastery level.

I am in agreement with these players, not being able to participate in a lot of activities is frustrating,the weekly podium, Batula, these help to boost up rewards, and why only enough levels to do 2 soda races, this is a punishment just because we reached the pink door, it needs changing, it's no fun waiting for the Friday levels that are usually cleared by two Soda races in one day then having to wait for the following Friday for one day's
the Mastery Level should be renamed to “Time Out”. It is like a punishment for passing to many levels. You can’t participate in most activities and therefore can’t compete for for rewards. They need to get rid of this punishment for achieving a high level of- I hate it and it makes me not want to continue playing.
Let me explain it to you in a nutshell. The "Masterly Level" is like an event that opens up to top-tier users who have already passed the Candy Crush Soda Saga to the latest level. It's like a course every Friday where you train your skills to be rust-proof before a new level is released. The only difference is that the follow-up Candy Crush Jelly Saga comes randomly from the regular level that was already given, which is like a previous test. But for the Candy Crush Soda Saga, it's not taken from the regular level that's been released so far, and it's like it's a level of training for you to improve your skills as if you're solving a new mathematical questions!

It appears the "Mastery Levels" are largely pointless…too bad I can't help my teammates any more.
Now the door to those levels has disappeared…now what am I supposed to play?
They also don't add to Podium contest levels or give credit to Batula!?!?!

It just happened AGAIN that the soda race started all over. I was at level 18625 and the finish was at 18628. This happened also very often!!!!! Can you please explain why this is happening! Am I the only one where this is happening??
