ipad freezing on ios 17.7.7

hi, I can’t play my favourite game on my ipad since Sunday. I have an iPad Pro on the latest version 17.7.7 and the game is updated to the latest version. I have lots of memory so that’s not the problem. It opens then immediately freezes on the Day Missed page. I also play on my iphone which has no problems.Please help!

Ads are freezing and having to close app each time
Whenever I choose to watch ads for a bonus or extra lives etc, the ads have started to freeze. It’s the ad for teaching or education or something. It’s so annoying. I’m losing levels because of it and happened about 6-10 times in the last hour I have been playing. What is causing this?
