The events or bonuses sometimes take a little rest and appear and disappear. So as mentioned above please do the standard troubleshooting by log out, update your game application, restart your device and login again. And hopefully events will start coming back for you.

It's the same with me. It is currently being investigated. Just some good advice from me: Check your game for updates and clear the cache and open it again. Then you are always on the safe side.
