Why won't all my friends show when I want to send a help request?

My game seems to have this problem where even when I search for the name of a person I know plays Soda Saga so I can send them a help request to advance to the next episode, the name doesn't show up. This is especially frustrating because I know at least one of these friends would help if I could send a request (she sends me lives daily). But I can't. Is there any way to fix this so I can send requests to all of my Soda-playing friends?

Hi DolceBellaBaker! Please ask your friend if she has blocked notifications from the game (https://www.facebook.com/settings)
Alternatively you can both play the game on King.com - simply invite your friend by his/her email address and you should be able to team up there.

Mine does the same thing. My friends that play don't show up bc they want our money to move forward instead of your friends helping you. My friends aren't blocking anything. We sat here and checked but we don't show up on each other's lists in the game when we need to pass to another part of the game. They are trying to screw with you so I will probably pass the word and quit playing.

Yup, same thing happens to me. All the people that I know play candy crush every day do not show up in any searches when I need help to move to the next level. Candy crush blocks the people you have sent a lot of requests to in the past and won't let you send them requests any more.
