I understading this is frustrating. the infos @Nix66 posted above are the updated ones π while this thread is one year old
Were you looking for the King icon in the steps to create a King account?
After creating your King account you can sync your progress and friends lists between your King account and FB account (on laptop/pc) and play with your King account afterwards, wherever you want. (read previous comments)
Social Hub is available only on app version and not browser version. If you don't see Social Hub on your updated Soda app, it may be possible it hasn't reached your game yet π Make sure your game is always updated and keep on eye on Social Hub icon appearing on your map:

Do you play Soda on app? on browser?
Do you wish to add friends?
The app version supports Social Hub which is the ability to add friends. The browser version doesn't.
Do you wish to create a King account? Do you want to sync your progress between your Facebook account and King account?

I play on my laptop.
I seem to have lost all my game friends, they say they've lost all their friends, too.
I have a King account and reset my passwor, and now it says my new password is wrong.
This is all too stupid.
