Has happened at least 3 times. Get to a certain level and next time I play am 30 levels back. Last time this happened I was at level 95, next time I played it started at level 65.
How are you saving your levels? Maybe try saving your game with the Kingdom instead of Facebook or vice versa. If you play on Facebook then check if your levels are safe on there.
