Unable to unlock level 61

This has happened to me before on an earlier level. Friends are sending me lives but game not accepting them so unable to unlock level 61. Last time I couldn't play the game for 4 months and it spontaneously resolved. I have tried playing from king.com and syncing but no luck.

OK I purchased 10 gold bars but it did not enable move to next level.

Yes this is what you told me before when it happened and it still doesn't work. I don't see why I should have to purchase gold bars on principle. If this is causing such a problem to people then why not remove this element of the game? I'm not prepared to wait 4 months like last time and will consider cancelling the game if its not resolved.
