Missing icon for "quests", this appeared on my husband's login but not on mine

About a week ago a new icon appeared on my husband's game when he's logged in via Facebook & the downloaded app from his PC. I play using the ways he does. However this "quest" icon has not appeared for me & we are currently at the same level: 796. He is getting all these advantages that I am not. Extra lollipops etc. How & why do i get this?

Quests, events, promotions are added to players games normally randomly. They don't seem to go out to every player so it sounds like your husband has this one and you don't on this occasion.

Redeeming stars for island rewards
When you have stars you can redeem for rewards on island ,the bubble doesnt come up so you can redeem them. I have 100 stars but no bubble to get to island . Uninstalled and reinstalled, reset my phone with no results.
