How do I recover from Candy Crush Saga crash on iPad?

Same problems mentioned by others. My Candy Crush Saga has crashed and each time I either select the play button, or touch on a level I get knocked off and goes back to my desktop. I also lost all my boosters and I had a huge stock of them. How can I stop the crashing to be able to play the game and how do I get all my boosters back? Frustrated enough to just quit playing it. Please help!

If the game keeps crashing then first check for any available updates, if that doesn't sort it out then reinstalling should likely do the trick.

I have the same problem, so I did reinstall but lost all my boosters etc that I had built up, plus it only worked for about two days, then unreliable - had hoped latest update would fix, but no. Have not been able to play any levels for days now. Am also considering giving it up, but I like it!!
