No account found for email

The classic my levels won't sync problem. I tried syncing with Facebook but my phone will be at level 400 while PC is at level 1. So I then tried registering with the "kingdom" when you make an email and username. When I try to sync on the PC, I keep getting the error that "no account found for the email." And yes, they are exactly 100% the same. No typos. Please advise.
